About 300 women from 34 countries have been riding bicycles to pedal for peace in the Middle East. The around 300-km ride, started in Beirut and goes through Syria and Jordan and should end in Ramallah, in the Occupied Territories. The bike ride is called 'Follow the Women' and is meant to send a message to world leaders to stop the suffering caused by the conflict in the Middle East. The participants in this rallye received the support of Syria's Asma El Assad and Jordan's Queen Rania who both spent time biking with them.
